Are consistent hair cuts REALLY that important?????

Something we hear all the time from our guests when they come in is "I don't want a lot cut off".  However, they haven't been in to freshen up their cut in three months or more.  Of course, women love their long hair, and their husbands love it more!  We know that, but it's our job to keep your mane looking fresh and healthy.  That's why you come to see us, right?

Keeping a consistent schedule to have your hair cut is more important than most people think.  Your hair is like a fabric that needs to be maintained in order to keep a healthy appearance.  Think of a piece of silk fabric.  If you continue to run your fingers through the threads at the bottom, constantly pull it in and out of your pocket, and leave it sitting out in an area where there is TONS of heat, in no time that gorgeous piece of silk will be nothing but nasty, dried out strings.  Your hair is no different.

Heat is a major factor for splitting hair, everyone knows that.  Mechanical damage, such as brushing, and combing the hair can cause just as much trauma to your locks as heat can.  Your hair splits at a very fast rate, almost twice as fast as it grows. Waiting three to four months in between a haircut can mean that you will need to lose twice as much length to make the ends look healthy, where having a regular trim can result in just the absolute minimum having to come off to maintain body, retain style, and keep you a step ahead in the quest for beautiful hair.

So, in answer to the question, "Are consistent haircuts really that important?"......  the answer is YES!  We want you to have amazing hair all the time, and YOU want to get your money's worth when it's all said and done!
